Some of My Favorite People and Places
(arranged alphabetically)

Auburn University Small Animal Clinic
These wonderful people have the best research department in the nation and a wonderful surgery department (a friend's dog had a recent hip replacement--is doing fine). Their "patients" travel from around the U.S. for these, and other, services.  The oncology department is second to none, as is the internal medicine department, which uses radiology in the treatment of thyroid tumors (my yellow cat is a veteran of this treatment--he's well and happy).

Compassion International

With a few dollars a month, Compassion will feed, clothe and educate (mentally and spiritually), the entire family of a child in poverty.  Write to and receive letters from your sponsored child. Visit  www.compassion.com

The Fritz Medical Clinic
The patients of Dr. Woody Fritz travel from around the U.S. to see him.  Constant research and cutting edge treatments make his clinic the one to visit for chelation, glutathione treatments, anti-aging, weight-loss and so much more.  It's the place to go when you need extra help or want to ensure wellness.

John Croyle's Big Oak Ranch
John played football for Bear Bryant at the University of Alabama before organizing his Big Oak Ranch for Boys and Girls in need of homes.  His son, Brody, is the Tide's present quarterback.  Awesome place, the Ranch!!

Peet's Coffee
If you're a coffee-phile and you haven't found Peet's, I question your addiction to the brown stuff.  Peet's is the best.  They also have the best chocolate and chocolate covered cherries/blueberries I've ever tasted!

Trinity Counseling
1-205-822-2730

The founder of Trinity, Don Richards, Mdiv, Ms Lpc, has over twenty-five years of counseling experience. His case load consists of clients from all walks of life, with all manner of problems. Trinity exists to alleviate emotional suffering, promote healthy relationships, and aid healing.

Dr. Hank Paine, PhD
1-205-822-2730

Dr. Paine is a Trinity counselor and former police officer, and is on retainer with several police departments. Although not his only specialty, Dr. Paine is experienced in the treatment of post-traumatic stress, which is sometimes, but not always, a result of officer-related shootings.  Victims of crime may develop this, as well.

Dr. Sam Saxon, PhD
1-205-822-2730

Dr. Saxon who shares his practice with Trinity, is a veteran of many years in the counseling field. A former department head at the University of Alabama, one of Dr. Saxon's specialties is 'juveniles and violence'.
